My cat just turned a year old in May, and I’ve been with my boyfriend for eight months…
Although it is tempting to think our pets are angry with us, usually they are just anxious and confused. When another person is in the home for long periods of time, the way we interact with our pets may change. Therefore it is essential to try and find time to interact with our cats when people are over through play, grooming or even teaching tricks. In some cases giving them a hiding or perching area in the same room can make them more comfortable staying in the area.
