This is an unusual and I think alarming behavior. I know she’s been found to be healthy on exam but if you haven’t done any testing - lab work and an x-ray would be helpful to find out why this is happening. I am wondering if the coughing is not due to a hairball since nothing comes up but is rather a true cough which could be related to asthma or perhaps her heart. I wish I could tell you just what it is but I think we’ll have to do some detective work to get a better idea. Keep us posted.
